The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Esaminata alla luce ultravioletta, sono visibili vecchi ritocchi lungo la superficie, principalmente in corrispondenza di alcuni dei precedenti sollevamenti e pieghe della carta.
Tenuto conto di quanto sopra, è nostra opinione che l'opera sia in condizioni di conservazione buone.

Support and paint film in good condition, the work is not lined. The paper adheres well to the underlying support.
The angular folds and the present deformations are consistent with the artist's working method and should not be considered as damages.
Small paper losses to the corners and hairline cracks in places due to the natural aging of the colour used.
When examined under ultraviolet light, some old retouchings are visible along the surface, mostly corresponding to some of the previous liftings and folds of the paper.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
