Signature Cellars’ London first sale of 2014 contains a wide variety of fine wines from the world’s leading wine regions. The sale presents two outstanding private collections featuring Bordeaux and Burgundy for current drinking and cellaring. The first comes from a 17th century English country house cellar and includes large selection of Bordeaux from the acclaimed 2000 vintage including 12 bottles of Château Lafite-Rothschild (starting bid £8,000) and two 12 bottle cases of Chateau Haut-Brion (starting bids £3,500). These ideal storage conditions have maintained the wine in perfect condition for drinking now. The second cellar came from Belgium and contains of range of Bordeaux from the 1990s and early 2000s which are drinking perfectly now. Viewers will also have the opportunity to purchase single bottles from some of the world’s leading producers such as Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Vega-Sicilia, Château Latour and Château d’Yquem.
