The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corners and edges and has likely shifted in tone. Some of the hinges are faintly visible through the sheet. Artist pinholes are to the corner tips, and small pieces of scotch tape are visible on the corners and edges. Creases, handling indents and numerous tears are scattered along the perimeter of the sheet, many of these presumably are in keeping with the artist's working method. A few of the tears are repaired on the reverse with tape.
