Christie’s is proud to announce the single-owner auction, A Lasting Engagement: The Jane and Kito de Boer Collection, offering more than 150 works of Indian art from the prestigious collection of Jane and Kito de Boer across live and online sales. This is the most important single owner sale of South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art that Christie’s has had the pleasure to present in this field in the last few years.

The online auction, which will be open for bidding from 4-25 September, offers a selection of Indian court paintings in addition to modern works by artists including Ganesh Pyne, Francis Newton Souza, K. Laxma Goud, Bikash Bhattacharjee, Somnath Hore, Prosanto Roy and Abdur Rahman Chughtai among others. A selection of photographs by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Raghu Rai and Steve McCurry and contemporary works by Chittrovanu Mazumdar and Hema Upadhyay round out the catalogue.
